Councilmember Craig Elrod was born and raised in McDonough. Craig is a graduate of Henry County School and Georgia Southern University. Craig received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Georgia Southern University. He is employed by Best Insurance Group, where he has worked with local residents and business owners since 2004. His father, Mike Elrod, also served as the District III council representative in the late 80’s. Craig and his wife, Stacey, have one daughter.
