Bill is a native Gwinnettian and grew up in Duluth. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor Degree in Geography and Minor in Economics. He earned a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Planning and Economic Development from Georgia State University.
Mr. Aiken has worked in the field of Planning and Development for 11 years in both the public and private sector. He has held various roles during his tenure at the City of Duluth and has been the Director of Planning and Development since March of 2017.
Bill and his family have lived in Sugar Hill for five years. They enjoy spending time outdoors together and hold a particular affinity for time spent on Lake Lanier.
