Larry W. Vincent, Executive Director of the Development Authority of Clayton County. As the Executive Director of the Development Authority my role is promoting and supporting the growth of Clayton County per Ga Code 36-62-2, which gives the Development Authority the power to own, finance and build every type of commercial, industrial and mixed use facilities.
I have an Electrical Engineering Degree from Southern University located Baton Rouge, La. I retired from the Georgia Power Company, where I spent 42 wonderful years in engineering & construction, marketing and serving in the external affairs arena for Georgia Power.
I’m an18 year veteran of economic development in our county due to my service on the Development Authority, Re-Development Authority, and Urban Redevelopment Authority of Clayton County. I also serve on the Clayton County Chamber Board.
I live in the River’s Edge Community of Clayton County for 20+ years. My wife, Kim and I have been married for 41 years and we have two wonderful adult children, and two fantastic granddaughter.
I love serving Clayton County because I live in and I love Clayton County!
