Join the Council's Henry County Advisory Committee featuring Brad Johnson, Deputy County Manager, Henry County.
Johnson currently serves Henry County as the Deputy County Manager, a leadership position which he has held for more than three years. Prior to his role in the county manager’s office, he served with the Henry County Fire Department for twenty-eight years, rising though the ranks to the top post. He has extensive experience with budgeting, strategic planning, team building and leadership development.
Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in Fire Service Administration, and throughout his career, has earned numerous certifications and awards, in addition to participating and completing extensive fire service educational and training experiences and classes. He is a licensed Georgia Paramedic; received an Executive Certificate of Completion and Achievement from the University of Georgia for their Homeland Security and Emergency Management Program; and completed the UGA Carl Vinson Management Development Program. He currently serves on the West Georgia Emergency Medical Services Council and is a member of the Henry County Accountability Courts Board of Directors.
