Sabrina Wright is an experienced economic development professional and was appointed as Cobb County’s Director of Economic Development in 2022. Sabrina has more than fifteen years in economic development serving in a myriad of roles in the Metro Atlanta region.
As Cobb County’s Economic Development Director, Sabrina leads her department in efforts to support the Cobb business community by focusing on business attraction, existing business retention, small business, entrepreneurship, job creation and redevelopment. Sabrina believes economic development is a collaborative effort involving many strategic partners and she strives to build partnerships with local leaders and stakeholders who can positively impact Cobb’s business community.
Sabrina is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Cobb and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State University and a Master of Public Administration from Kennesaw State University. Sabrina grew up in Cobb County and is passionate about doing the necessary work to enhance the economic standard for Cobb County residents.
