Keli Gambrill
Commissioner, District 1
Cobb County
Over the years, Keli Gambrill has fought for our community, from zoning to code enforcement, to exposing all kinds of issues from simple administrative errors to abuse and fraud. In 2018, Keli Gambrill campaigned on addressing the county’s budget problems and preserving the rural characteristics of West Cobb. Keli Gambrill won 58 percent of the votes in 2018, because her conservative views align with those of West Cobb residents.
In 2022, Keli Gambrill continued her campaign platform on being fiscally responsible, following the future land use plan and being transparent. She won her second term as west Cobb’s representative in 2023; unopposed. Now in her second term, Commissioner Keli Gambrill looks forward to working on Cobb’s unified development code and continuing her experience in zoning and land use to maintain Cobb’s unique characteristics. Along with improvements at our parks through the 2022 SPLOST funding.
Keli Gambrill understands the numbers. She has creative intelligence to analyze and evaluate ideas, solve problems and make decisions. Her background in finance has played a major role in her seat, alongside board of commissioners, as the county deals with pension issues and annual budgets. Her investigative skills and remarkable love for details have come in handy while fighting budget issues at the county level.
In her free time, Keli Gambrill likes to horse around. She has a mare named Libbe who stays on a farm that Keli maintains. As an avid equestrian and accomplished rider, Gambrill is also a judge for dressage shows and cares for horses. She is married to her husband of 26 years, Bob Gambrill and they have a son in college.
Commissioner Gambrill has been active in groups such as the 2040 Comprehensive Land Use Plan Committee and People Looking After Neighborhoods, which focuses on the management of growth in West Cobb.
Commissioner Gambrill is extremely dedicated to what happens in West Cobb (including the budget, developments, land use and preserving its historic value while enhancing its future). Her campaign slogan was “None of us is smarter than all of us.” Commissioner Keli Gambrill will continue to make sure policies are followed. Each day in office, Commissioner Keli Gambrill is reminded, that by working together, our great public safety, community development, transportation and county staff meet the needs of not only the District One constituents, but also the entire county.
