Join the Council for Quality Growth's Cherokee County Advisory Roundtable at 11:45 AM in-person at the Cherokee Office of Economic Development. We will be hearing updates from the City of Canton's Community Development Director, Kevin Turner, and City Planner, Brittany Anderson.

Kevin Turner, AICP
Community Development Director
City of Canton

Kevin became the Director of Community Development in November 2023. He has 18 years of experience in city planning and community development, including Cherokee County, the cities of Dunwoody and Roswell, as well as private sector consulting. He has a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University and a Bachelors in Geography from University of Georgia. He and his family have lived in Woodstock for more than 10 years.



Brittany Anderson, AICP
City Planner
City of Canton


Brittany is currently the City Planner for the City of Canton, Georgia. She has over ten years of planning experience gained through a variety of program, technical, and leadership positions with the cities of Sandy Springs, Chamblee and Canton, Georgia. Brittany has earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Fort Valley State University and a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from Alabama A&M University.
