Event Description:
Robin Morey serves as the vice president and chief planning officer of Emory. He joined the university in July 2018 and oversees the master planning process. Through collaboration with the provost and the executive vice president for business and administration, Morey supports the execution of Emory's strategic plan in order to optimize and ensure highest and best use of Emory's valuable resources.
 

At Georgetown University, Robin served as the vice president for planning and facilities management. In this role, he led Georgetown's master planning and campus planning efforts while guiding day-to-day operations for the university's facilities management, transportation services, capital reconstruction programs, campus utilities, real estate services, and sustainability programs and initiatives.

Lieutenant Colonel Morey (Ret.) was a commissioned officer in the District of Columbia Air National Guard for 22 years and served on numerous active-duty tours, including Operation Enduring Freedom.

Holding a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland–College Park, Morey is a graduate of the Air Command and Staff College, Maxwell Air Force Base, and is a certified facility manager, and LEED-accredited.
